Hello, I’m Raúl Durán, a Spanish photographer based in Budapest, Hungary, where I’ve lived and worked for over a decade. I bring extensive experience in capturing the artistry and movement of dancers, which has become the heart of my work. My photography journey began after a career as a professional illustrator, working on storyboards, children’s books, and animated short films. But my long-standing love for dance—especially tango, which I’ve practiced for over ten years—drew me to photograph dancers. Today, my portfolio spans various dance styles, including classical ballet, contemporary, tango, and pole dance, allowing me to combine my artistic vision with my deep appreciation for the world of dance.
